Penn Badgley gives a cheeseburger to ‘90210′ girls
-Posted by: Quivi
90210 skinny starlets has worried Gossip Girl hunk Penn Badgley. He heard that blogosphere was abuzz about 90210’s skinny starlets and how they are too thin for TV.
The 21-year-old actor told Popeater that he’s “never been proponent of the thin L.A. girls” and is glad that the females on his hit CW show “aren’t bone-thin.” (He’s currently romancing his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Blake Lively.) Penn had some advice for the girls of 90210 (also a CW show): “I hope they eat a double cheeseburger or something.”
A good news about the 90210 series is that Luke Perry might reprise his role as Dylan McKay on new series 90210 after his character was named as the father of the son of Kelly Taylor, played by Jennie Garth, reports Maldova.

From Q.C. to ‘90210'
-Posted by: Quivi
Jessica Stroup didn't care much about “Beverly Hills, 90210” when it first aired in 1990. At 4 years old, she was more interested in watching “Rugrats” on Nickelodeon.
By her tween years, Stroup was sneaking behind her strict Southern parents' backs to watch the iconic primetime teen soap with friends.
“They didn't want their little girl watching, you know, possible abortions on TV,” she recalls, laughing.
Now 21, Stroup claims the famous zip code as her own. The Providence High School graduate plays a key character on the new “90210,” ... Read More ...

WHO LOVES/HATES '90210'?
-Posted by: Quivi
The CW's decision to not screen "90210" before last night's two-hour series premiere paid off in ratings, but not in reviews.
The highly anticipated spinoff averaged 5 million viewers, making the updated version of '90s classic "Beverly Hills 90210" the highest-rated scripted series premiere in the network's history.
While fans--old and new--rode The CW's wave of excitement all the way to the iconic ZIP code, newspaper critics are universally calling "90210" a wipe out. ... Read More ...

School's back in session with glossy "90210"
-Posted by: Quivi
The world's most famous ZIP code returned to primetime Tuesday, albeit at a different network than during its first 10-season run; the CW network rather than Fox.
It also arrives with a truncated title, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" of the original shortened to simply "90210" because short is the new long (or at least, the new cool). Television would trim "Citizen Kane" to "Kane" were it ever to go to series.
But by any handle, high school is high school, and the world of spoiled rich bitches and brats hasn't changed much in the 18 years since the first "90210" premiered. But let it be said at the outset that the latest, hotly anticipated new edition doesn't embarrass as much as many had feared given the decision by the CW publicity department not to send out screeners in advance to critics. This form of journalistic blasphemy will no doubt result in the show getting panned by many scribes just on general principles. But the truth is it really isn't so horrible after all. ... Jessica on Erin Silver
-Posted by: Quivi
Name: Erin Silver (Jessica Stroup) Where you’ve seen her: As Cady, the possible spawn of Satan, on Reaper. In this zip she’ll be… Kelly’s half sister (her dad is David Silver’s father, Mel, who was once married to Kelly’s mother, Jackie), who’s the town wild child. ”She’s grown up in this world, seen all the money, knows what it is to do cool Hollywood things, but she doesn’t care about it,” says Stroup, who initially auditioned for Annie but believes she simply wasn’t Midwestern enough. ”Silver doesn’t take crap from anyone.” Source: EW.com
